The OFT has announced the outcome of the consultation on its findings on its response to a super-complaint submitted by the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) on 24 July 2009, relating to the supply of beer in pubs.

Start date: 5 February 2010
Closing date: 24 March 2010

In February 2010 the OFT opened a consultation regarding its findings (pdf 644kb) in response to the super-complaint.

Outcome of consultation and the OFT's final decision regarding CAMRA's super-complaint: 14 October 2010

The OFT has concluded that the pub sector in the UK is competitive overall and has not found evidence of competition problems that are having a significant adverse impact on consumers. The OFT has therefore concluded that further action by the OFT is not warranted.
