This consultation is focused on irresponsible lending practices for the purposes of section 25(2B) of the Consumer Credit Act 1974.
It is aimed at those with an interest in any stage of the lending process as conducted by consumer credit businesses. This includes large and small businesses, trade associations, professional bodies, regulators, enforcement agencies, consumer organisations and borrower groups.
