A new approach to financial regulation: consultation on reforming the consumer credit regime

HM Treasury and the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills are currently considering responses to a joint consultation that considers the merits of transferring responsibility for consumer credit regulation from the Office of Fair Trading (OFT) to the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).
