Frequently Asked Questions

Occasionally people have difficulty logging in. There are some common reasons why your log-in may not work. Trying the suggestions below may enable you to log in successfully.

If you have tried these options and you still can't access Skilled to go, then we would like to know about it so that we can identify the problem and find a solution for you.

1. I am a new user and my attempts at registering keep failing every time I try to submit, why is this?

You need to complete all 11 boxes on the registration page before pressing submit.

2. I am entering my email address but it keeps being rejected. Why is this?

Check that your email address is entered correctly. Remember that if your email address or password was entered incorrectly first time around, then entering it correctly now will mean that the system will not recognise you as an existing user. We can check our database for the email address that you originally entered if you suspect that this could be the problem.

If you have registered more than one email address – many teachers register both home and work email addresses – is the correct password entered for the particular email address?

Why will it not accept my password? 

Check that your password is entered correctly. Remember, it is case sensitive.

4. Why have I still not received my temporary password?

If you've used the 'Password reminder' or 'Change password' feature, these emails will not reach your account instantly. Avoid trying your changed password before the email arrives verifying it.

5. Why will it not accept the temporary password I have been given? 

If you've used the 'Password reminder' feature and are cutting and pasting the temporary password from the reminder email, make sure that a space isn't accidentally included at the end of the password.
