Undertakings not to acquire

(i) Not to integrate the business of Federal Mogul and T&N, not to take any action to prevent the divestment of the T&N business as a viable business.

(ii) To dispose before 6 December 1998 (or such other date as specified by the Director General) the European thinwall bearings business of T&N as a going concern to a purchaser or purchasers to be approved by the Secretary of State.

(iii) After such disposal, not to acquire any further assets or interest in the T&N business without the prior written consent of the Secretary of State.
