Details of order under section 4 : 

1. Being duly authorised by the Director General of Fair Trading (the Director General) I am satisfied that Mr Andrew P Jenkins (Mr A P Jenkins), currently working with
Taylor Jenkins, 21A Railway Street, Altrincham, Cheshire WA15 2RQ,

has failed to comply with section 18(1), 18(2)(c) and (d) of the Estate Agents Act 1979 (the Act) which are obligations as referred to in section 3(1)(c) of the Act and relevant statutory obligations within the meaning of Section 4(1)(a) of the Act; and if Mr A P Jenkins were again to fail to comply with any of the obligations referred to in section 3(1)(c) of the Act (being relevant statutory obligations within the meaning of section 4(1)(a) of the Act) the Director General would consider him unfit within the meaning of section 3(2) of the Act.

I therefore make an Order under section 4 of the Act warning Mr A P Jenkins that a future failure to comply with any of the obligations referred to in section 3(1)(c) of the Act (being relevant statutory obligations within the meaning of section 4(1)(a) of the Act) would render Mr A P Jenkins unfit to carry on estate agency work generally and in such circumstances the
Director General would proceed to make an Order under section 3 of the Act rendering Mr A P Jenkins unfit to carry on estate agency work (within the meaning of section 1(1) of the Act) generally.

This Order shall not come into operation until any appeal under section 7(1) of the Act and any further appeal has been determined or the period in which such an appeal may be brought has expired.
