Details of order under section 3(2)(a) : 

Being duly authorised by the Director General of Fair Trading, I am satisfied that ANTHONY DOBSON
was convicted on 1 October 1993 at Southwark Crown Court of:

a) one count of fraudulent trading contrary to section 458 of the Companies Act 1985, and

b) two counts of procuring the execution of a valuable security contrary to section 20(2) of the Theft Act 1968,
these being offences involving fraud and other dishonesty within the meaning of section 3    (1 )(a)(i) of the Estate Agents Act 1979 (the Act).

Being thus duly empowered to make an Order under section 3(2)(a) of the Act, and being satisfied that Mr Dobson is unfit to carry on estate agency work generally, I hereby make such an Order prohibiting him from doing any estate agency work at all.
The Order shall not come into operation until any appeal under section 7(1) of the Act and any further appeal has been determined or the period in which such an appeal may be brought has expired.
