Details of order under section 3(2)(a) : 

Being duly authorised by the Director General of Fair Trading, I am satisfied that Mr Alistair Edward Leslie (Mr Leslie) of 3 Seaford Street, Kilmarnock, Ayrshire, KA1 2DA was convicted on 23 March 1984 at the High Court of Justiciary of two offences of fraud, these being offences involving fraud and other dishonesty within the meaning of Section 3(1)(a)(i) of the Estate Agents Act 1979 (the Act).
 
Being thus duly empowered to make an Order under Section 3(2)(a) of the Act, and being satisfied that Mr Leslie is unfit to carry on estate agency work generally, I hereby make such an Order prohibiting Mr Leslie from doing any estate agency work at all.
The Order shall not come into operation until any appeal under Section 7(1) of the Act and any further appeal has been determined or the period in which such an appeal may be brought has expired.
