OFT statement on 18 August deadline for UK airports study

The deadline for submissions to the OFT's study of UK airports is today, Friday 18 August. The OFT is aware of incorrect press reports that this deadline has been extended to all parties.

It is the case that some parties have contacted the OFT to request extensions, and the OFT has considered such requests on their individual merits and has granted extensions in some cases. However, in the interests of enabling the OFT to proceed with this study, the OFT is still requesting that interested parties ensure that submissions are sent in today (18 August) or to contact the OFT if they are unable to do so.
