Campaigns
The OFT regularly runs campaigns to raise consumer awareness and provide information on a variety of different issues, from scams awareness to shoppers' rights.
The campaigns aim to inform consumers of their rights, make them aware of particular pitfalls, and help them to help themselves. The campaigns, which are often carried out in partnership with other organisations, such at the Trading Standards Service, can feature a range of elements: media advertising, online features, direct mail and the targeted distribution of leaflets.
The OFT is currently running the Save Xmas campaign.
