Investigation into the provision of loan products to professional services firms

The OFT is investigating alleged anti-competitive conduct in breach of Article 81 of the EC Treaty and/or the Chapter I prohibition of the Competition Act 1998. The investigation has a narrow focus, relating to the provision of loan products to professional services firms.

The OFT’s investigation is at an early stage. The OFT will not be in a position to conclude whether it considers the law has been infringed until it has completed its investigation and assessed the available evidence.
