Courts and Legal Services Act 1990

Under the Courts and Legal Services Act 1990, government can request OFT to assess whether authorising a professional body to be able to provide rights of audience and rights to conduct litigation, or authorising amendments to an authorised body's rules, would have a significant effect on competition.
